Join us for a rewarding volunteer experience at our Resource Fair on October 25! LBFE is looking for friendly and dedicated volunteers to be part of the Event Support Crew, helping with photography, serving light refreshments, and assisting our elderly friends throughout the event. Your support will ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Responsibilities:
Event Photographer:
-Capture memorable moments throughout the event, including candid shots and posed photos.
-Ensure a variety of photos that highlight the different aspects of the fair, such as interactions, presentations, and activities.
-Upload and organize photos after the event for LBFE’s use in promotions and thank-you messages.
Refreshment Server:
-Serve light refreshments to attendees, ensuring the area remains clean and well-stocked.
-Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Elderly Friend Assistant:
-Help elderly friends navigate the event, guiding them to different resource stations and presentations.
-Offer assistance as needed, such as carrying items, finding seating, or providing companionship.
-Ensure elderly friends feel supported and valued throughout their visit.

Requirements:
-For Photographers: Basic photography skills and a camera (DSLR preferred, but smartphones with good cameras are acceptable).

-For Elderly Friend Assistants: Compassionate, patient, and attentive, with a desire to help and support others.
